This is the home for things about Fred Mortensen. Fred is most famous for his “riding the rods” (in this case underneath and on top of trains) in pursuit of religious transformation.

Raised in poverty, Mr. Mortensen began a life of crime as a child and was eventually arrested for an aborted attempt to steal a mail bag from a rail car. A chance meeting with Albert Hall changed his life forever. This meeting triggered a series of events that transformed his life. This web site is dedicated to his memory and to that which he sought.
